Globus has once again defended the rights of an enterprise - an importer of fabrics in a dispute with the customs.
The reason for the dispute was the non-recognition by the customs of the declared customs value of the fabric (at the price of the contract) and its 2-3 times increase, which led to additional charges of customs payments.
The case was complicated by the large volume of deliveries, the enterprise was refused recognition of the customs value for 54 customs declarations, respectively 54 decisions on adjusting the customs value and refusal cards to accept customs declarations were appealed. By the District Administrative Court’s decision, which entered into force, the claims were fully satisfied.
The result the Firm’s work was the prevention of additional charges of almost UAH 13 million of customs payments to the client.
